Take a day to explore Mazovia province - the outskirts of Warsaw. On this day trip you will get to know all the highlights of this region at a glance: the birthplace of Frédéric Chopin and his world-famous piano music, noble residences of the Polish aristocracy and the colorful folklore of Mazovia.

In Żelazowa Wola you will follow in the footsteps of Frédéric Chopin and visit the place of his birth. In the surrounding park you will enjoy the wonderful nature and lovely piano music. You will find out what Chopin had in his ear when he saw the Mazovian landscape and what music was close to his soul.

In Nieborów you will visit the most magnificent baroque residence of the Radziwiłł family and learn about the turbulent fate of these world citizens. In the splendidly furnished castle rooms you will marvel at valuable art collections, extensive collections of books, English and Meissen porcelain and ceramics from the local majolica factory. You will learn how one of the most powerful families within the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth once lived here and how they financed their lives. You will discover that the Radziwiłłs were not only related to the Kennedy family, but also had a network of contacts with the kings and emperors and their residences in France, Italy, Germany and Russia. No wonder that the great and famous have frequently visited Nieborów, just to mention Alexander von Humboldt, Prussian kind Friedrich II, Russian emperor Alexander I. Afterwards you will visit a regional restaurant where you can try out the specialties of Mazovian cuisine and admire the colorful folklore of this region. Additional information:  

  • The tour is conducted by air-conditioned, comfortable car/minibus (1 up to 6 pax) and starting from 7 pax by air-conditioned coach (7 up to 19 pax) in combination with walking and sightseeing: you will spent approx. 2 hours in car and 6 hours on sightseeing.
  • Pick up within the city center from the reception desk/lobby at your hotel/accommodation.
  • From May to the end of September on Saturdays and Sundays Chopin recitals are held in the park in Żelazowa Wola. Duration approx. 40 minutes. Admission: free. Highly recommended!
  • The lunch break is scheduled from 12.30 pm during the week and from 1.30 pm on the weekend. For groups of 10 people or more a table reservation is recommended.
  • This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.
