Experience an informative and impressive tour to Treblinka extermination camp. Located in the outback though just 100 kilometers from Warsaw, Treblinka was the most efficient death factory. It was in Treblinka that the Nazi Germans murdered over 870 000 Jews with just a year. The first transport of Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto came to Treblinka on July, 1942. Up until than Jews from occupied Poland, France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Yugoslavia, Slovakia, Soviet Union were transported daily to Treblinka and just upon arrival exterminated in specially built gas chambers. In August 1943 an armed uprising broke out. Only about 100 prisoners survived. After the uprising the camp was completely demolished and abandoned by the Germans. After the World War II one of the most impressive memorial sites of the Holocaust was built on the site of the former extermination camp.

During this 6-hour tour to Treblinka you will see real places and hear authentic stories. You will find out how meticulously the plan of the final solution was put into action in Treblinka. You will visit the Museum of Fight and Martyrdom in Treblinka and see the exhibition devoted to the extermination camp. You will explore the area around the former camp and the memorials with a licensed English speaking guide. You will walk through the symbolic entrance gate and along the road leading to the ramp. You will stop at a breathtaking memorial and learn about the most symbolic site of Holocaust. You will get to know the history of Janusz Korczak and children from his orphanage. Although nowadays there are no buildings or barracks there and it’s hard to believe that Treblinka was a solely death factory, the experience of being there is unforgettable. In Treblinka, everything is symbolic.
